Questo è il riassunto di quello che questi due giorni di congresso di Alleanza Nazionale mi hanno lasciato in animo.

Non portare la nostra identità, non portare la nostra bandiera, ma portare la nostra capacità di leggere la società italiana e di individuare ciò che è necessario per dare una risposta ai problemi.
Ci dobbiamo mettere tutti in discussione, a partire da me. Sono cosciente, accetto la sfida. Tutti in discussione. Per qualcuno verranno meno le rendite di posizione, per qualche altro si apriranno delle opportunità forse inaspettate, positive, ma la sfida va affrontata. Siamo coscienti. Non dobbiamo aver paura nemmeno che questa alleanza, questo incontro, questo fatto storico possa in qualche modo annacquare l´identità, farcela perdere. E' per questo che da oggi guardo al futuro, grazie a Gianfranco Fini che come solo un uomo di DESTRA può fare ha avuto il CORAGGIO di dire quello che pensa e di dimostrare che persone come Roberto Menia sono tra i pochi sicuri di potersi confrontare con le sfide che il Popolo delle Libertà è chiamato a combattere, perchè ha idee, identità personale e coraggio delle proprie azioni.
Spero anch'io di essere in grado di non rivolgermi più al passato e di aiutare il Popolo della Libertà a costruire un futuro migliore per l'Italia.
